French for jewel, and built like one — gin, sweet vermouth, and green Chartreuse layered to glow. Harry Johnson's most extravagant stir.
- 1 ozGin
- 1 ozSweet vermouth
- 1 ozGreen Chartreuse
- 1 dashOrange bitters
Served up
Stir with ice until well chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a cherry and a lemon twist. Garnish: Lemon twist and cherry.
