Gin, lemon, and sugar lifted with Champagne and named for a field gun — because it was said to hit with the same kick. Dangerously easy.

  1. 1 ozGin
  2. ½ ozLemon juice
  3. ½ ozSimple syrup
  4. ChampagneTop

Served up

Shake the gin, lemon, and syrup with ice. Strain into a chilled flute and top with Champagne. Garnish with a lemon twist. Garnish: Lemon twist.
