A New Orleans tavern's way to move surplus rum — dark rum drowned in passion fruit and citrus, sweet and lethal. Named for the lamp-shaped glass it fills.

  1. 2 ozGold rum
  2. 2 ozAged Jamaican rum
  3. 1 ozPassion fruit syrup
  4. 1 ozLime juice
  5. 1 ozOrange juice

Over crushed ice

Shake with ice and pour unstrained into a hurricane glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish: Orange and cherry.
