Irish whiskey and hot coffee sweetened and capped with softly whipped cream — dreamed up to warm transatlantic passengers on a cold Irish night.

  1. 1½ ozIrish whiskey
  2. 4 ozCoffeeHot
  3. ½ ozDemerara syrup
  4. 1 ozHeavy creamLightly whipped, floated

Served up

Warm the glass. Stir the syrup into hot coffee, add whiskey, and float lightly whipped cream over the back of a spoon. Garnish: Lightly whipped cream.
