A Brooklyn cousin of the Manhattan from the Milk & Honey stable — rye anchored by sweet vermouth and a measure of maraschino. Spirituous and a touch nutty.

1. 2 ozRye whiskey
2. ½ ozSweet vermouthPunt e Mes
3. ½ ozMaraschino liqueur

Served up

Stir with ice until well chilled and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish: Brandied cherry.
