Named for the French Quarter and tasting like it — rye and cognac braided with vermouth, Bénédictine, and two kinds of bitters. New Orleans in a glass.
- ¾ ozRye whiskey
- ¾ ozCognac
- ¾ ozSweet vermouth
- ¼ ozBénédictine
- 1 dashAngostura bitters
- 1 dashPeychaud's bitters
Over cubed ice
Stir with ice until well chilled. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass and garnish with a lemon twist. Garnish: Lemon twist.
